Richard the Chef & Sledding with Trey!!!

So we went to a neighborhood Christmas Party a few days after Christmas! We played a white elephant game and this is what Richard ended up with!

It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen Richard wear! Don't you all agree! I didn't think that he would really wear it but to get into the spirit of his cooking the next day he through on this wonderful Christmas apron and cooked a wonderful meal for the fam! Thanks so much to whoever decided to give this away!!!

Now even better we took Trey sledding for the first time this year this week and it was so much fun! Trey has been wanting to go for a while now,but we've had to put it off because Trey has had a ear infection! Well, finally the day had come that he was able to go!

We took him to a park that is about a block away from our house that has a ton of hills and all kinds of places that he could sled! Here is Richard and Trey scoping out their location they had chose! Trey didn't really want to be taking pictures but I had to get some of his first sledding trip on the big hills!

Here is Richard and Trey getting ready to take on the hills! Trey was so excited!

Even I got into the action and went with Trey a few times! It was a ton of fun to go sledding with my little guy!
But pretty soon Trey was ready to brave the hill by himself! I couldn't believe he was so brave, but our child is a daredevil and looks fear in the face and laughs! I don't know if that is good or bad! But here he goes! He had so much fun He fell out every time he went alone but he would just lay in the snow laughing it was so cute!

Here is little Jack in his snow suit! He looked totally adorable! He just chilled in the stroller and watched us slide down the hill!
And finally here is Richard my oldest child of them all deciding that he needed to take on a jump!! I don't know if he thought it was a good idea after the fact but it sure was fun to watch! We had a great time and I'm glad the boys have such a fun dad that will go and do these things with them and have just as much fun as they do!

That is by far the best park to go sledding in, we have gone there for a few years now.
Richard you look great in your apron!

I don't remember if I said this on facebook or just told Jared...but baby Jack's picture is awesome! He looks like he is thinking "hey...I am here...just chillin' like normal" how fun to go sledding! Trey definitely looks more bundled up than either of you or Richard. Maybe next year for Christmas you guys will have to get some serious winter coats!

Oooh, SNOW! It snowed in Jacksonville 20 years ago and almost shut down the city. Someday we'll have to visit during the winter so my kids can experience it!
