Harper loves the front door...mostly because I think she really wants to go outside. Whenever she hears it open she books it over there so she can look outside. It's pretty adorable really! She just will sit there and stare out and see what she can see and has a huge grin on her face.
Our front door has had a few changes over the years for one it use to be white til I decided black was were it was at...and it was the best decision I ever made regarding front doors! We love it! Recently I put our house number on the door too...also a big love! All in all I'd saythe front door is pretty friendly as along as your not soliciting something! Seriously I hate myself solicitor...if you want to sell us something I don't care what it is don't bother we don't want it and neither does the front door! In fact I'm going to make a sign that says "solicitors will be eaten by zombies" to put by the door just to scare them off! So there you have it day in the life of our front door!
