Jacky....

Today was jacks first day back at school. It was short lived! I got a call 45 minutes into him being gone to come pick him up because he had fallen and hit his head on a book shelf. So I went, brought him home, he laid on the couch for a few but acted totally normal! A few hours later he said his stomach hurt but nothing serious! Just before dinner time he started throwing up. I knew then something had to be wrong. As soon as Richard got home we decided I should take him to the Instacare. So I did he threw up the whole way, in the middle of the lobby it was fabulous! Luckily we got to forego the two hour wait and go right in. That's were things got seriously crazy! He suddenly got so lethargic. He couldn't keep his eyes open they were rolling into the back of his head he started taking all sorts of crazy! It was awful...I was so scared for him. They decided they now needed to send us to the er! At this point I lost it a little. I was so scared for my little guy and I needed Richard there with us. I called him up and thankfully he could get our wonderful neighbors the Hunters to watch the kids and he met us at the er. He continued to throw up at the er and then just passed right out. He was tired and nothing was going to keep that kid awake. We let him sleep until it was time for his CT. He did so good and was so brave. He held so still and in the end his cute little head was all intact and nothing was wrong. Now he is home sleeping in bed and will probably feel fine in the morning. These are the times in mom life when it's the hardest! I wished so much I could trade places with him. I'm so glad he is just fine...love that little guy!

Glad he's ok! I was with a friend once when her little girl hit her head. She got really lethargic and all of her words were slurred. It was really scary. Their outcome was the discovery of something that changed their lives forever. So glad that there was nothing wrong for you guys!
