The end of an era....

I can't believe this day came! We are no longer a crib family and never will be again. It makes me a little sad to think that this crib has been in use for practically the last 7 years. But those days are long behind us now. Harper our last baby had her last night in the crib and has moved on to a big girl bed! We were able to snag her a full size bed because that's what every princess needs right? She has loved it! She's slept great in it! I had no doubt she would be fine because she is a great sleeper and in fact I think she has been sleeping even better then normal! She was so excited her first night she just couldn't wait to hop up in there! I wanted to deck it out all beautiful for my princess! I spent so much time making her crib bedding and love it so much that I just couldn't part with it. So I decided that I would use all the parts of it to make pillows and such to go on her bed! So there are pillows from her bumper and her crib skirt on there! It was hard finding a bedspread that I loved but I finally decides on the white on white chevron quilt! It tied in perfectly with chevron pillows! I have to give a shout out to my best helper trey! He helped me make everyone of the pillows! He stuffed them all while I sewed. He's been so excited for Harper and so has jack! They go and lay with her on the bed and its so cute to see them all together having a good time! She has loved her new bed! She keeps telling me to, "come look at my cute bed!" I'm so glad she loves it as much as I do! In fact I'm a little jealous of it! I still have a few more things to do to make it the perfect big girl room for her but Its good for now! It's sad to see my baby growing up but I'm so happy at the same time! I love my girl and she deserves the best of everything! Love you Harper Ella!!!
