Movin' On Up!!!

Richard got a promotion!! I'm so excited for him! He has been the City Manager for 6 years here in Logan and it has been great but I could tell that for the past little while he has been wanting something a little bit more challenging! He couldn't sleep the other night so I guess he was just up thinking about what he could do to help Westates and himself a little bit! He came up with the idea of him over seeing the northern part of Westates! They have someone that does it in the southern part so why not have one in the north! The next morning he told me about it and was trying to decide if he should go and talk to his boss about it or if he should wait till the next week! I said he needed to go that day not wait because I knew there was a possibility that he would talk himself out of it! He made a great pitch and they loved the idea! His boss was so excited that he wanted to do this! So at the beginning of January Richard will be handing over his spot as City Manager to his assistance to become the Director of Northern Operations! He will be over seeing Logan, Salt Lake and Elko Nevada! He will have to travel a little bit but it is something that we can live with! I'm so proud of him! He is going to do such a great job and I'm so excited to see him excited about his new venture! Some people have thought that it is alittle crazy that he works at the theatre and don't see it as a real job but it has been something that has been great for us and I'm glad that he has been able to stay working somewhere that he loves! It is great for our family it makes it possible for him so spend a lot of time with us and it is very flexible. I'm so happy for him and I can't wait for him to start on this new path! Congrats Richard me and the boys love you so much and think you are amazing!
