Dear Old Navy...We Are Not Friends!!!

Today Richard asked me if I would go to old navy and do some Christmas Shopping for him! I gladly accepted after all it is laundry day (My most hated day of the week) and we know that I can't pass up and opportunity to get out of the house and go SHOPPING! So we got ready and me and the boys headed out for a morning at Old Navy! Now these times at old navy are usually pretty great! I think I need to tell a small back story from last week when I went so that you can understand the unfriendly relationship that me and old navy are having at the moment! Last week 2 days after thanksgiving I decided to go and see if I could get a little Christmas shopping done! Now old navy is having guitar hero out in their store for people to play! Trey saw it and was totally excited! It was rather busy there so I told him that we couldn't play today and that we just needed to get done what we were doing so we could get out of there! I didn't want to get stuck there for to long with 2 crazy boys! We finished shopping and we were about to head out! I had gotten Trey out of the cart and then I was getting Jack out when Trey took advantage of my weak moment and darted toward the guitar hero at the back of the store! This threw me into a mild panic because who knows what kind of crazies there are out there who might just want my little Trey for themselves! I finally caught up to him and it wasn't pretty he got the what if someone stole you from me lecture all the way home!
Now cut to today...
We were walking out the door and Trey was right behind me I was holding Jack and the bag and I saw that he was coming out the door so I let go of the door. I knew that he had plenty of time to make it out! Well I turned to grab his hand so he didn't run into the parking lot and all I hear is him screaming and laying on the ground! Then I saw blood..lots of blood coming down his face! Folks he had gone into "don't pay attention to were I'm going mode" and the door hit him right in the face! I kept my composer got him up and walked swiftly to the car! Just as I opened to door so that I could set Jack down Trey started screaming that Jack had thrown his bouncy ball and was now rolling down the parking lot! Some poor little lady saw him screaming about the ball so started to chase it! Obviously she doesn't know our rule of you throw it you loose it...FOREVER! I started to help Trey with his face! The poor little guy looked like he just got out of a war! People were staring giving me the "what is wrong with that mother look"! The lady ended up catching up with the ball, very nice of her! I got them both strapped in and made it home! Trey was pretty upset but he now thinks that he is the coolest kid because of this..........

He is one tough cookie! I didn't take pictures of the before I thought that would put me on the worst moms list so this will have to do! Trey feels pretty awesome with a band aid on his face but what boy wouldn't!

Oh Trey baby! On a completely un related note he kind of looks like Matt when Matt was 3. Anyway I think you should steer clear of Old Navy for a few weeks. Oh and I really like your rule if you throw it and it is gone well then it is gone FOREVER!
