A Long Time Coming...

A little over 3 years ago I came home from the store to find that our family room was flooding! Turns out Richard had forgot to shut off the water to the outside faucets and a pipe had burst during the cold Cache Valley winter. Trust me hasn't forgot to do that since! The plumber came and fixed the pipe but also decided to put a huge hole in our wall! My wonderful Daddy came and patched up the hole but needed to wait a day or two before he finished it........
3 years later this is still what the hole looked like! My dad kept saying he would come and finish it. Then Richard said last summer that he would for sure finish it. Well I was sick of looking over in that corner and seeing the big white spot. So I the handy woman of this house took it upon myself to finish the job. I called my dad he got me the proper tools and I went to work!


And finally it is done no more white spot and no more unhappy wife! As you know happy wife happy life...right! I'm just teasing my dad and Richard I know that they are both very busy men and I appreciate them dearly for all that they do! But lets be honest it's a good thing that I'm as handy as I am!

In other house news I finally decided what to pair with my little tree at the front door and I just am in love with it! I went and picked out a bunch of ball that were made out of twigs and moss and the white one in the front is actually made out of a tree branch. I love them and I'm loving the tree!
