Field Trip!!!

Today Trey's Preschool was going on a field trip to the Old Grist Mill to learn how bread is made! I had known about it for awhile and kept asking Trey if he wanted me to go as a Volunteer! He kept telling me no because he thought that I would embarrass him in front of his Girlfriend Sky! But finally at the last second he thought that it was a good idea! So I got to go and really see how he is at school! When we got to school we had a little bit of time before the class had to leave to go on the bus so that was neat to get to see him talking in his Spanish and watching him interact in class! He does so good with his Spanish and I wish that he would speak it more at home! After that I got assigned my little buddies and we were off to catch the bus!

Here is me and Trey and one of our little buddies legs riding the bus! Honestly I have never in my life rode the LTD! Trey is a pro at it since he had gone on a lot of field trips with his class! It's a little funny that my 3 year old is more experienced at this than me!
After the bus ride and a small walk we made it to the Grist Mill and learned a lot about what it takes to make bread and bagels!

Trey and his class learned about how they grid the wheat!

Next we learned how they make bagels!

Trey loved watching the bagels fall on to this little thing!
Look at all the bagels!

Next we learned about the oven! It was super hot and the biggest oven that I have ever seen!

Trey with all the loaves of bread!

Learning how they slice and bag the bread for customers!

My little Trey doing such a good job at paying attention ;)

Afterwards they got to pick out a Bagel! Trey picked a raspberry one!

This is Trey and his cute little girlfriend Sky eating their Bagels! Their little crazy faces are just a match made in 3 year old heaven! Trey is going to marry her when he is 26 by the way if you didn't already know! He has it all planned out!

Trey and his Raspberry Bagel waiting for the bus!

After a long day they all sat and waited for the bus and ate their food! It was so much fun and I was glad that Trey wanted me to go and help! I love that Trey gets to go and have fun doing all these cool things with this school that is the thing that I like about it best! He gets to have wonderful experiences that he wouldn't at other schools and he has such a great teacher to take all these kids on such fun trips! I'm so glad that we found this school for him! It has been the best thing for his creative personality! I had so much fun and all the kids were on their best behavior which I couldn't believe! All my little buddies did great! I hope that I get to go again with them I had so much fun being with Trey and watching him and Sky together it was so cute!

thanks for including the picture of sky. I was curious what she looked like. Looks like a super fun field trip, and it makes me hungry for Old Grist Mill.

That sounds like so much fun. What an awesome preschool. I'm glad he decided his mom was cool enough to go with him ;)

It is just so funny that Trey has his marriage all planned already. I was really hoping to get him and Ivy together :)
