It's a boring life....

Well I decided that I should probably blog about something even if it is nothing! Things here have been less then exciting! It's so cold outside we don't even want to leave the house. I think the highest that I've seen it get in the last little while is maybe 16 degrees and the air just looks disgusting! Even up here on our hill it's hazy!
I decided on January 1st to start potty training Jack....great way to start out the new year ;) It's been rough but I think that we finally started to make some progress!
This is how he has been rockin' life lately! Undies and a shirt! The first little while he wasn't having it! I was getting frustrated and wanted to quit because I was tired of getting him on the potty, nothing happening and then taking him off and dealing with pee 2 seconds later! But I have persisted! Yesterday... finally by a miracle after he got up from his nap I noticed that he hadn't peed in his pull up so I put him on the potty and he did it.... he peed...a nice long good pee! I was screaming I was so excited and that got him excited too! He got a sticker and some M&Ms and he thought that was pretty cool! So cool that later after dinner he did it again!!!! He hasn't done anything today but at least he has done something!

I'm still getting alot of this when I say that it's time to go potty or when the potty buzzer goes off but oh well! Personally I'm tired from chasing him and then carrying him up the stairs to the potty but hopefully it starts to get better!
Trey has been just hanging out waiting for school to start again! But unfortunately we received an email from his school (that is currently going through a ton of changes) that they were getting rid of his class 4 days before he went back! We had the option to switch to another class but it just wasn't going to work with our schedule and the changes that were happening were not very pleasing to us so we had to make a tough decision to take him out of his school. I wasn't comfortable with the way things were turning out there anyway so maybe it's for the best. I tried calling and getting him into another school but because of the time of the year and the late notice they have no room for him! So I have a new occupation Preschool Teacher! We are going to be working with him at home to get him ready for Kindergarten! I feel so bad for the kid but he is really excited about it! We are going to start on Monday so I'm trying to figure out how we are going to do this!
Other then that nothing fun is going on here! Hope everyone else is doing fun things!
