Vegas, a Birthday and a Belly!!!

January is a depressing time of year for us here in the good old Cache Valley! It's super cold and smoggy and no fun. Luckily for us Richards parents go to Vegas for the winter and are kind enough to invite us down for a few days! We decided that we would go over Richards birthday and it was great! The weather was fantastic in the mid 60's with lots of sunshine! We left Monday night after Richard got off work and got to Vegas around 11 pm Vegas time! It was a long dark drive and I was uncomfortable pretty much the entire time. Funny Story, when we hit about Nephi area I decided that I couldn't take it anymore! My stretchy pants were digging into my ever growing gut and they were cutting off circulation so I decided that they had to come off! Seriously I rode the rest of the way to Vegas with no pants on! I didn't care one bit! When we got there we put the boys in bed together and surprisingly they went right to sleep even after getting worked up a bit since they were seeing Dick and Pam for the first time in along time! We went right to bed but it wasn't long before we were woke up in the morning by our two little guys ready for some cartoons! Me and Richard had plans that Night to go on a HOT Date with out the boys so we all headed over to the ticket place to get some for that night! While we were deciding what to go to Grandpa and Grandma took the boys over to this really cool park!

This maze was the coolest! We ran around in it for a long time! The boys would hide from me and Richard and we would sneak up on them and scare them, It was so fun!

After that we headed to the New York, New York to get tickets for our show that night and made the mistake of just letting the boys walk. Which meant alot of carrying by me and Richard! Poor Jack's little legs just don't go that fast so it was exhausting! But on that walk we someone asked us where we were from when we said Utah there was a quick, "Well where is your other wife?" Richard followed it up with this, "This is my other wife!" It was pretty hilarious people are so stupid! We rounded out the day with lunch, Me and Pam did a little shopping and while we were gone Richard took the boys swimming! We went on our much needed Hot Date which included some guy trying to give me a free CD of his music "here have some rap music for the baby!" and one of the annoying guys at the casino trying to give me and coupon for free shots at coyote Ugly! Yes this really happened, do you think that I should be slamming them back in my condition? All I can say is the date was great!!

The next day we took the the boys to the tournament of Kings! Jack was feeling really crappy that day so I was worried that he wouldn't like it but he loved it! We were right on the front row and he clapped and cheered for our knight like a pro!

It was a great show Trey got a little freaked out when the dragon knight came out so much so that he peed his pants a little! But he loved it and Jack loved the horses!

The last day that we were there was Richards Birthday! He had great day of shopping and just relaxing!

Here he is opening all his presents! I think that he got what he wanted he never tells me so I never know! Me and Him got to go on another date that night! We went to a movie and after that we went and saw a comedian that was really funny! It was a great day and he is now 32 big ones! We had fun having him with us and not having to share him with work and I like that I got to spend time with just him for a few hours! Happy Birthday Richie I hope it was a good one!
Also while we were in Vegas came being 24 weeks pregnant! We decided that we had to have a classic Vegas Belly shot for this big moment! So here I am in front of the Welcome to Vegas sign showing off the bump! Baby Girl is getting pretty big these days and I really noticed it in Vegas! But we are trucking along right on schedule and the time is flying by! I just got the fabric that I ordered for her room in the mail so I can start working on getting things done in there! I'm so excited! I feel like I'm not getting that energy coming back thing that everyone talks about but I'm pretty sure it's because I chase around after two crazy boys all day! I am hanging in there though and it's great that I have such a supportive hubby that helps me out so much when he comes home!
Well that was our trip we had so much fun but it's always great to come home to your own place and mostly my own bed!! Thanks so much to Dick and Pam for letting us take a break from this cold weather to visit them and thanks for watching that boys a few nights so that we could have some alone time together it was much needed!
