A sweet reunion...

A few years ago I received a facebook message from someone at the time I didn't know. Through that message I discovered that out there in the world I had two sisters that I never knew about! They both live out of state so honestly I didn't know if we would ever meet in person. I had talked to them alot recently due to a unfortunate event and was hoping that we would someday have the chance to meet. I was very excited when I was told by them that they were coming to utah to visit some other family members of theirs. I was a little nervous but very excited at the same time. I must say that I couldn't have done it without my incredibly supportive husband. He's been very supportive in me meeting them, he never even thought twice about it when I said I wanted to and he had never made me face it alone. He had stood by me 100%. We had them and their families over for a bbq and it couldn't have gone any better! I was nervous that their would be awkward silence and nothing for us to really talk about, but it was amazing how much we had in common. It really felt to me like we had always known each other and we were just picking up were we left off. Even Richard and my sisters husband (it is still weird for me to say that) were like two peas in a pod, separated at birth! It was so funny! Trey and jack loved meeting their new cousins and just couldn't get enough of them. Everyday they would ask me when they got to play with them again! It was really an amazing experience getting to meet them and know them on a real face to face level, instead of email. I feel really blessed to have them be apart of my life and apart of the life of my kids. I'm so grateful for them taking the time to look for me and search me out until they finally found me!
