To say I've been busy is kind of an understatement! Awhile ago you might remember that I decided to paint our banisters which turned out amazing! So then I decided to tackle the kitchen. We have ugly orange cabinets that I have always hated. I've been thinking about doing this for awhile but couldn't make up my mind about which direction to go lighter, darker...decisions,decisions? I always looked at white kitchens and thought I loved them, but how would it look with all these boys in this house? So I just decided to take the plung! I got Richard on board for the idea (when I say that I mean I got the go ahead not the help ;)) and got to work. it's been slow going since I can only work when harper is down for a nap! So for the last week and a half this is were I've been slowly but surely painting my way around the kitchen. It's looking so bright and big and beautiful! I can't wait to have it all done...with new hardware, breadboard around the bar area and just less orange! Even Richard told me the other day that he could believe how much he liked it and that we should have down it sooner...in my book that is what we call a success! Now if a magic elf would just come a finish it for me that would be ideal ;)
