Mother's Day was a great day!!! The kids couldn't wait to wake me up in the morning so they could give me the things they made at school and their cards! They were all so excited and so was I! Trey made me a flower pen and wrote a huge letter to me! It was really sweet! Then they all gave me a card! Trey and jack made me breakfast in bed with no help from richard while me and Harper snuggled! We got ready for church and headed outside to take Mother's Day pictures.
Trey was asked to give a talk in sacrament meeting about a month ago as a tribute to his mom. I was so nervous for him because he is only seven though he seems so much more mature! All the other kids were teenagers or 20 something's. He wasn't nervous until we started to walk up the steps to the church then he really started to feel it. But he walked in and went straight up to the front to sit with all those other kids! He looked so tiny and everyone was going up there to give him a pep talk. But let me tell you he did an amazing job he was the first one and honestly the best one. Trey and richard wrote the cutest talk and it's something that I will never forget!
I was so proud of him he is definitely braver than I am. He said the sweetest things so I now feel like I am somewhat suceeding at this whole mom thing.
After church we headed home and richard made dinner! It was a fantastic day! I'm so happy to be the mom of these three beautiful kids. They truly make being a mom the best ever! I love them so much and I'm proud of the little people that they are turning into!
