Colorado!!!

We just got back from our little vacation to Colorado! Richard has an Uncle over there that has been wanting us to come and visit so we decided that this year we would drive over to visit and take the boys to do some fun things! It took us about 10 hours to get there with all the driving and the occasional stops for stretching! Here we are about 5-10 into the trip the boys were not this happy for the whole drive so good thing I got a picture right at the beginning!

We left at about 10 that morning we got a late start because Richard had to go into work for Little bit so me and the boys had to wait around for awhile Trey was very anxious to get on the road! A funny story, Richard will hate that I'm telling this! We had stopped for lunch and decided that we were going to turn Jack's seat forward. His nose had been really stuffed up and was having a hard time breathing when we would fall asleep because his head would fall forward. We turned it around thinking that it wouldn't matter because the kid is like 25 pounds so no big deal! Well about and hour later Richard and his lead foot got pulled over...great...Jack is the wrong way! The police officer did notice that he was probably too young to be forward facing but we told him that we had been cleared by a doctor even though we hadn't! I knew that we would get pulled over as soon as I did it! Richard got a ticket for his speeding but at least we didn't get in trouble for Jack!

The first day that we were there we took the boys to the zoo and it was a zoo! It was a Friday so we didn't think that too many kids would be there, but I swear every single school in Denver was there for a field trip! The boys had fun for the most part only a few meltdowns! It is so much better than the zoo here in Utah. It will never be the same to me they had so many more animals! It was so much fun! This was the only warm day while we were here so we definitely took advantage of the warm weather!

Later Richard's Uncle Allen and his girlfriend Janell had us and Dick and Pam ( Did I mention that they went there too) over for a BBQ it was alot of fun! Janell is from Louisiana so everything is very Cajun they had tons of craw fish that they boiled up. Trey played with a few and then Grandpa Stud tried to get him to eat one. Not a good idea Stud! I think that he was a little freaked out by it for the rest of the night! Allen had saved a few for us to take home as pets but we forgot them oh well they will have to find a home some where else!

We also went to a Rockies game on Sunday it was a lot of fun but cold! Jack was such a trooper he sat in his own little seat ate snacks. watched the game and then had a nap with Grandma! Trey was just in love with Allen and Janell they were so good to him! He had so much fun! When Trey got tired of the game they took him down to the playground and let him get his sillies out as he would say!

We stayed with Allen and Dick and Pan stayed at a hotel so we were able to take the boys over to go swimming! It was Jack's first swim he is definitely a water baby! He had so much fun and Trey of course loves the water so he had fun to! Grandma Princess had got him a pair of goggles so he thought that he was the coolest thing ever!

On Saturday it was really cold so we took the boys to the Aquarium and to the Children's Museum they had fun Jack loved all the fishies and Trey loved the Sharks and the Jellies those are our favorites! Me and Trey got to touch some Stingrays that was a lot of fun!

At the Children's Museum they just got to run around and have fun Jack got to play with toys and Trey got to play dress up he was a Fireman and a Vet it was so fun and so cool I wish that we had something like this here it was so kid friendly and and the boys loved it! It was a good way to get out of the cold because it was freezing that day!

It was so fun the boys had a pretty good time Jack was teething at the time and Trey has allergies so it was the best that it could be! The weather was crazy really warm and then really cold but I guess that is how it is in Colorado!

The morning that we left we woke up to snow! When Trey saw it he said, " Oh no not snow!! I can't take this it is making me crazy!!" I think that he had heard that somewhere, but I can't imagine were ;)

On the drive home we saw this guy on the side of the road! Trey thought it was a Reindeer just might have been with all this snow!

After a long ride in the car we finally made it to our house! Jack was so glad to be home he is such a home body he was so glad when we pulled into our house he was kicking and squealing it was so cute!

Thanks so much to Uncle Allen for letting us crash at his house! They boys just loved him and Trey wants to go back! Thanks to Janell for having such great BBQ's! Your guys are great!

From the Mouth of Trey!!!

Okay so last night me and Trey and Jack were laying in our bed liek we ususally do on Friday nights when Richard goes back to work! I let the boys lay in there and fall asleep! Jack has been being kind of a stinker! He won't lay down and is always trying to play with Trey! Last night this is how it went.
Trey: "Jack lay down this isn't time for play, it's time for sleep!"

Mom: "Trey are you the boss?"

Trey: " No, Jack is the Boss!"

Mom: " No, I think that mom is the boss!"

Trey: " No, I'm the boss and you're.... The women!!!"

What I'm I going to do with this kid! He cracks me up!!

Jack's First Easter!

It was Jack's first Easter this year he had no idea what was going on but he sure was happy to be here for all the fun! W didn't really talk to Trey about the Easter bunny for some reason so he didn't really know what to expect! They woke up on Easter morning early as usual and this is what they found!
Richard volunteered to do most of the Easter shopping this year and I think that he went a little over board but he always does for his boys but they had a great time! Trey got a little baseball mitt and Jack got a fun little bubble maker! They both are sharing the cute Diego wakie-talkies! I think they are more for Dad and Trey but Jack will have fun slobbering all over it!
We went to church that morning and we were in Sunday School when all of the sudden Jack had a major blowout all over himself and me! Yes me and little Jacky ended up having to go home and wash his Easter outfit so that he could still wear it for the rest of Easter! We got Trey and Jack matching outfits so yes is was a must that he wear it the rest of the day!
Mom and the cute boys in our Easter gear! Both with fresh clothes and matching so cute! I never thought that I would make them wear matching clothes they are going to hate it someday when they look back! But they are so cute!
Daddy and Jack hanging out at Grandma Princess and Grandpa Stud's house on Easter!

Grandma Princess planned a Easter egg hunt for the older boys! It was alot of fun but a little frustrating with Trey! It took him forever to pick up all his loot! You would tell him to pick something up and he would be like "I can't see it" even though it would be right in front of his face! But don't worry 2 years later he got it all gathered! ;)Finally success picking up the Easter hunt! Do you think that he will ever get out of this phase of not looking at the camera when I want to take a picture?
Finally here is our little Jack celebrating his 1st Easter in style! He was such a good sport I hope that he had fun! We had a wonderful time and thank you to Princess for putting on such a fun little party both of the boys had a great time!

Happy Easter!!

We were dying eggs last night and Trey was trying to make his Ugly Egg at the end! He tried two different eggs but they both came out rather pretty! The last one came out looking very purple and green! It looked just like the Joker! We hope that you all have a wonderful Easter!

Love,
Richard, Megan, Trey and Jack!

Chuck E. Cheese

We finally got Trey good enough at going potty that we decided that it was time that he got to have his big reward! Chuck E. Cheese! He has been wanting to go there for along time (Richard has also) so we told him that if he started going potty in the potty and not in his pants that he would get to go! We told him this like 6 months ago so it has been along time coming! But we finally made it I thought that this day would never come! Trey was so proud of himself and so excited that he would finally get to go!

Here is the big man right in front! He was so excited he could hardly wait!
Trey and Mom celebrating all our hard work! Trey was so excited to see Chuck E. Cheese!
I don't know why he is always pulling such weird faces for pictures but he was excited even thought he looks a little crazy in this picture! He didn't really eat much of his pizza he was wondering why he was the only kid not playing games and having to sit and eat his food!
This was the first thing that he wanted to do! He liked it for a minute but after that he wanted to be done and was getting a little scared!
Trey and Jack riding this ride was so funny it was kind of like a roller coaster that shaked! I wish that I made a video of this one because they were both yelling at the screen and Jack big thighs were just jiggling like crazy! It was so funny!

Richard and Trey were amazing at basketball! We finally won some tickets here but our real strength was at whack-a-mole!

Little Jacky Bair had a great time too! He loved looking around at all the games and would get so excited when we would win one! I can't wait till he is potty trained so that we can take him for his big day!

We are so proud of Trey finally accomplishing what we thought was going to be impossible! It was a big day for him and I'm so glad that he finally got to do something that he has been looking forward too! Great job Trey Baby we love you so much!
