Backyard Campout!!!

We have been planning on having a camp out in our backyard this year all summer! Finally the weather was good and warm enough that we were able to go ahead with our plan! It was alot of fun, we cooked hog dogs on the fire and had smores! They were really good! Trey isn't a hot dog fan so he had a ham sandwich instead but he still had fun!

Jack had an okay time he didn't really like the smoke from the fire and it started to get really windy! But he did like having little nibble off of every one's plate!

Trey had a good time he enjoyed his ham sandwich (his favorite meal lately) and grapes! He thought that it was so fun having a fire in our backyard! He might have liked the fire a little too much!

Trey loved "helping" dad with the fire! Here they are roasting marshmallows for our smores! They were super yummy and I don't even like marshmallow's that much!

Richard obviously liked them as well! He cooked them just right!

Trey didn't want to try a smore either so he just had a marshmallow just plain! He had fun watching daddy cook them though!

Here are me the and boys getting ready to sleep in the tent! Trey was so excited and so was Jack! Jack was just crawling all over the place and kept getting up on the air mattress and bouncing on his bum on it it was so cute! Me and Richard had to sleep in style I wasn't about to sleep on the hard ground! I felt kind of bad for the boys, but I made their beds as soft as I could!

Here are the boys getting all snuggled down in and having some milk before bed! Richard read them some not so scary stories while they went to sleep! They are so cute!

Here are our little cuties all snuggled up and finally asleep! It took them awhile to go down but after they finally did they looked so cute and snuggled up in their sleeping bags! I put like a million blankets on them, because I was so afraid that they were going to freeze in the middle of the night! I think that they both had 3-4 plus a sleeping bag!

And here is me and Richard's attempt to take a picture of us sleeping! It looks believable right? Camping in the backyard was fun! I ended up taking Jack inside at about 3 , the neighbors sprinkler came on and woke me and him up! I was freezing I didn't think about putting as many blankets on myself as I did the boys! So me and Jack went inside and had a sleepover in my bed instead! Jack went right back to sleep when I took him inside! We had a lot of fun and Trey can't wait to do it again! Hopefully next time I won't get so cold! It was a good little family experience! I wish that I would have been out there in the morning, because Richard said the Trey was really cute! He came over and snuggled up with Richard and said that he needed to read him the story of the big toe! We had read him that one the night before! He is such a cute little guy!
