The Never Ending Fence Project!!!

Yesterday Richard decided to start work on the never ending fence project! We have a few areas on our fence that need to be completed so Richard started work on the part between us and the neighbors. We didn't think that this would turn into the muddy mess that it was but oh well it needs to get done. Before we can even begin to think about putting a fence up we have to dig out these huge cement blocks that the previous owners neglected to remove when the fence fell over. I think that they just decide since they had no plans of fixing the fence themselves they would just saw the post off and cover it with dirt and pretend that it didn't exist anymore! This has made a lot of work for Richard. It would have been nice if they would have thought "Hey it just might be kind of hard to pull out the cement blocks without the post still attached!" But no they didn't!


I think that this was just the beginning he started to dig around the cement block not knowing that it seems to go all the way to the other side of the earth!

Richard had dug down a good 2 feet by this point and it still is not budging! He put a little bit of water in the hole to soften up the dirt, well then Trey thought that he needed to help dad out when no one was looking he turned on the water and filled the hole up all the way! Thanks Trey Baby Dad really appreciated it!

At the end of the day this is what he looked like! I can't believe that I let him in the house like this! Needless to say the block is still not out of the hole it is still stuck and unfortunately Richard still has a whole other one to dig out! I have not clue when our fence will be done at the rate it is taking to dig out these blocks! It would have been so much easier if the posts were still connected to the cement! Let the building of the fence continue!
