Who Needs The Discovery Channel?

We were trying to think of something fun to do this morning! Richard had suggested that I take the boys to Willow Park and take them to the zoo that is there! I wasn't to excited about this because usually when I take Trey he is so naughty he runs all over the place he turns off his ears and is just a nightmare! I thought to myself and maybe out loud to Richard that I wasn't to excited about this with him and Jack! But I was going to do it anyway!
When we first got in the car to go we drove down our hill and I started to rain! Now I should have taken this as an omen and said maybe today is not a good day to go to the zoo! But no I looked back in the back seat and saw the sad little faces of Trey and Jack looking back at me. I told them that if it stopped raining and we still had time before Dad got home from work we would still go! It stopped raining so we got back in the car and drove to our wonderful and some what educational (even for me) time at the zoo.
It all started with this Peacock he had all his feathers ruffled out and was trying to woo his special lady! She wasn't having it by the way!

Then came this..........which lead to this..............

My two boys Trey wondering why are those turtles wrestling and Jack just looking confused!

I wish someone would have told me that I was mating day at the Zoo maybe I would have rethought my decision to go there! All I can say is that at least neither one of them are old enough to be asking questions and at least they are boys! So when that time comes Richard is going to have a fun job in front of him not me! Also Trey must have been a little traumatized because he didn't want to look at anymore animals and didn't even want to play at the park he just wanted to go home! What a great day at the zoo. I'm so glad that Richard came up with the idea for me!

LOL! I am laughing really hard. It reminds me of a time that my brothers and I were in the car with my mom driving to grandma Tygesen's and we were at Brigham City and Matt yells out "Hey look those two horses are humping!" So I guess be happy your boys aren't old enough to know what is going on! hopefully next round at the zoo is better. At least you go to see the peacock all fluffed up =)

Oh Megan, that is hilarious! The look on Jack's face is my favorite. Hope your next trip to the zoo isn't quite so 'educational'! ;)
