Sometimes my kids do stupid things. I like to think that I have taught them well. Taught them things that they should and should not do! But then there are times when they do things that I'm not really prepared for! Today was one of those days! Jack was down for a nap and Trey was up on our bed watching cartoons! I was down in the kitchen and I could hear Trey making some weird noises! I decided that I better go and check on him to make sure he wasn't doing something that he wasn't suppose to!
But he was, he was laying like this trying to sneeze of all things! I asked him what he was doing and here is were I get the response that I was not prepared for, "I stuck a wood chip up my nose and I'm sorry, I can't get it out!" ....WHAT!
It was like the movie One Fine Day when the kid put a marble up his nose! I looked up there to see if I could see it and it was just out of my reach, but not the tweezers I thought! But I can just imagine if I had to stick tweezers up Trey's nose...it would have been the end of the world! Seriously! So I plugged one of his nose holes and told him to blow it out! Trey has never got the concept of this so I was living on a prayer that he would get it this one time so that he wouldn't suck in and get it more jammed up there!
Thankfully he got it on the second time! It flew right out! Trey freaked because obviously it had blood on it! I was relieved that I didn't have to be that mom that takes her kid to the hospital because he stuck a wood chip up his nose! Well lesson learned he will not be sticking things up his nose anymore.... until he forgets and does it again!
Other than that it has been a great day! We spent the afternoon watching for the bus.....just another typical day living with boys! Love 'em!
P.S. If you are wondering were the wood chip came from, it came from the park yesterday! It got stuck in his shoe!

I am laughing so hard. I am however really glad it got out with just some good blows and no hospital visits. I love your boys they are so much fun!
