Mother's Day 2010!!!

Mother's Day was fabulous this year like it is every year! I woke up to my wonderful boys and hubby bringing me wonderful cards that told me how much they loved me! It was great! We got all ready and went to church! Richard had to give a talk about Mothers and gave me and his mom a few shout outs about how great we are! He told a few stories about the boys and Trey was so embarrassed! It was kind of funny he kept hiding his face because everyone was looking at him and he just couldn't stand it! I was a little nervous about being left with the two of them by myself but they were both amazing and Jack didn't even have to be taken out in the hall! Trey also sang in Sacrament with the primary! It was so cute to see him up there so little with all the kids singing to the moms! It was so sweet! He didn't want to go up there at first but I got one of my primary girls to take him up and hold his hand so he went and did great! I think that he just liked holding Brooklyn's hand it made him feel like a stud! My Dad cooked Dutch oven for the moms that afternoon and it was great as always! Then we headed to Grandma Princesses house to wish her a Happy Mother's Day! It was a great day, long but great! For my present this year I asked for paint! You may be thinking that this is a weird thing to ask for but I really wanted to paint our bedroom! It has been bugging me for a while so I thought that this would be the prefect Mother's Day gift! Richard didn't even have to do anything because I went and bought it and did all the work! Our room was navy blue before and it was good for awhile but it was time for a change. It took me 4 days to get all the painting done since I could only do one wall at a time! But I love it!

I spray painted this mirror that I made Richard take out of his bedroom from his parents house forever ago! I thought that I would be able to find a place to put it! It only took me a few years but it finally made it on to a wall!
Here is a view of the curtains that I found! I got them at Ross for like $5 in the clearance section! They matched perfectly! What a steal!

Our other wall, I still have to do something about this lamp it is way to white for my taste. I will have to ponder this for a few days and then see what I come up with!

Our wonderful bedding! I got this bedding clear back in Feb. It had pretty much been the inspiration for the room! I love it! It is very different from the rest of our house a lot more cool and fresh feeling!

I got this vinyl saying at Kohl's for $3! Also a mega steal! It is so cute I just love it! I feel like I finally have an adult bedroom! It is just so cozy and it makes me want to stay in there all day! It was the perfect room to wake up in on Mother's Day! Thanks to the wonderful man and 2 little men in my life for making me so very happy on this day and everyday! I love all 3 of you very much! I am one lucky little lady!
