The Prince and The Pea!!!

Trey has not been sleeping very well lately! He has been coming into our room at about 2 in the morning every night and crawling in bed with us! I don't like it one bit! Sharing a bed with one boy (Richard) is enough! 2 boys in a bed means twice and much drool and twice as much snoring! A girl's gotta get her beauty rest! Richard was gone over the weekend and Trey came into our bed while he was gone! Trey and Jack have Richard and Matt's (Richard's brother) old bunk beds! Trey had the crappy old original mattress but fortunately for Jack he has a newer much softer and nicer one!

This is his mattress! It seriously was only a couple inches thick and it was hard as a rock!Trey had told me that he liked our bed because it was softer than his and his was not as cozy! I told Richard that day on the phone sort of joking but mostly not, that I thought that if he had a better mattress that maybe he would sleep better! Richard just sort of laughed it off and said, "Maybe, we will see what we can do!" Which in Husband language in case you don't speak it means...you're crazy and no! I didn't really think much about it after that! Later that night after Richard came home we went to go get something to eat! We passed a mattress store that was having a big sale and Richard stopped there and bought Trey a brand new mattress! I was totally shocked! He was in there for a total on 15 minutes! We loaded it in the back of the car, which I wish I would have got a picture of, and head home!

Trey is loving it! It is so cozy and soft! It is a pillow top after all! He has been sleeping so good! The first morning that he got up I asked him how his new bed was and he said, "it's so good mom, it's like I'm on a cloud it's so cozy and soft and warm!" He has been sleeping in so late and doesn't even want to get out of bed in the morning! I'm loving it because I get to have my whole side of the bed to myself and I'm loving that the boys are both sleeping in so that I can a little bit! Richard is such a great Dad and spoils us rotten! We love you and we love that we are all getting to sleep in comfort!
