Summer Lovin'!!!

It's finally here! Summer that is, we have been waiting for this to get here for what seems like forever! Trey has been dying to get out and swim in the pool! So on Tuesday we went to the store and got a new one because our old one was tiny for the boys last year and I knew that this year it would seem even smaller! We blew it up on Tuesday afternoon filled it with water and let it sit in the sun till Wednesday afternoon so that the water would be warm! Unfortunately Wednesday morning was cloudy, rainy and not warm like the weather said that it was going to be so the pool did not get warmed up at all! But do you think that that would stop Trey....

Of course not! It finally got a little sunny after Jack's nap and Trey had to swim and I couldn't stop him because he was driving me crazy about it! So he hopped in and it was freezing! I wish that I would have got a pic right when he got in because it was priceless!
My cute little man! Not to toot my own horn or anything but me and Richard make the cutest babies! I just want to squeeze him! We shaved off all his long locks on Tuesday! I was kind of sad I liked when he would wake up in the morning with crazy bed head and he loved it when I would run my fingers through his hair! But I must admit he has a perfectly shaped head that just looks so stinkin' cute with no hair on it!

Trey baby rocking it out in the pool! I just love having boys especially in the summer they are so cute and tan and I love their little shaved heads, they are so cute!

Trey quickly found out the water was freezing! He had to get out every few minutes because his little legs were shaking so bad he couldn't stand up! So he would warm up for a second and then hop right back in!

Jack was fine with just playing with a noodle on the outside of the pool for awhile but then he thought he better be like his brother and test the water out! Jack was smart, he didn't sit in the water only walked around a little bit, so that he wasn't as cold as Trey!

We also got to eat dinner out on our patio last night! I just love this time of year! It was so nice to sit out there watch the birds land on the grass and have Jack get so excited because he could see one! It's so peaceful talking about our days while eating a good home cooked meal! (Yes people I can cook)

After dinner Jack need a snack so he got some bugles and took over my chair!

Is this not another cute kid! He won't let us call him a baby anymore because he is a kid now! But he sure has some beautiful eyes and cute little dimples that I just want to kiss!
Last but not least...our little garden is starting to grow! Trey gets so excited everyday to go and see if anything new has popped up!

Here is our corn! This is reminding me off me and Richard's favorite Tim McGraw song called "Where the Green Grass Grows!" It goes like this "I'm gonna live were the green grass grows, watch my corn pop up on rows, Every night be tucked in close to you! Raise our kids where the good lords blessed point our rockin' chair towards the west and plant our dreams where the peaceful river flows..where the green grass grows!"
Here is our little tomato plant! I just love a tomato right out of the garden I can't wait for some to start growing!
And this is what Trey has been waiting to see for weeks! It's a watermelon! I was worried that it wasn't going to come up! Since we live on top of a ant hill I thought that maybe the ants got it or something but finally today it's coming to life! This was the only thing that Trey wanted to plant so I'm glad that all of his watermelon dreams are coming true! We just love summer and have so many fun things planned to do with the boys! Hope you are all enjoying it as much as we are!

Your boys really are super duper cute (it's not just you that thinks so). It sounds like Trey already has a girlfriend so can MaKayla have Jack? :)
