The First Week!!!

I can't believe that our little baby is already a week old and seriously it has gone by so fast! It was great having Richard here all week to help me out...I never could have done it on my own. I mean did you realize that after you have surgery how much pain you are in ;) Joking I knew how much pain I was going to be in! Luckily for me on my really bad days Richard just let me lay in bed and he took care of everything. But now we are back to reality that now involves 3 count them 3 kids!! I love them all! Trey has been on his best behavior helping me around the house and Jack well he's doing the best that a 2 year old can do. Surprisingly enough Jack isn't the one who has almost stepped on his sister...that would be the other brother! So far this week we have made this accomplishment....

We gave Harper her first bath...and she hated every minute of it! She isn't exactly a crier so we were shocked that she could even make this loud of a noise....I guess she can when she is ticked!

As soon as she was out of there she was just as happy as could be again!

Here she is sporting her super cute preemie jammies! She is seriously the cutest little girl I've ever met! I'm not just saying that because I'm her mom either ...she seriously is!!!

Here she is a few days ago finally awake so you can see her pretty little eyes! I just love this face it's so chubby and she has the cutest double chin! She is a big time cuddler. She like to snuggle with my but she really loves to snuggle with her dad and he loves it too! The other night after one of her baths she got all snugly with him and every time he would move she would just sink farther and farther into him....so adorable! I should have gotten the camera but I was upstairs it was downstairs and at that time me and stairs still weren't the best of friends!
She loves this blanket that aunt Tiffer made her! When ever we put her in it she snuggles up and goes right to sleep! I don't blame her because I want to do the same thing!
Finally to celebrate her being 1 week old she lounged out with her brothers on the floor! I can't believe how big they are compared to her! I was telling Jack that before I had her he seemed so little and now he looks like a little man! Both of the boys are doing great with her Jack likes to "help" me feed her and burp her before he goes to bed. He likes to help swaddle her up so she sleeps good and he loves to give her, her Binky! He also likes to ask if he can try her Binky and then we have to talk about how he gave his to the Binky Fairy forever! He is such a good brother to her though I was really worried about him but he is doing great! Trey is a helper too...he's funny because he likes to be right there when she is getting dressed for the day to help pick out a head squisher! Then he likes to go through all of them and see what outfit they would go with...it's a little funny. He is such a boy so it's funny to see him really into his sisters stuff! He loves to check on her in the morning to make sure she is still sleeping while I get ready. This is probably a little TMI but I don't want to forget this one! He has been very concerned about how she eats...so we tried to explain it to him and he's totally weirded out by the fact that she gets her food from a boob! It's a bit hilarious because whenever he sees me feeding her he gets all crazy and says, "I can't believe Harper's drinking from a boob!" then I inform him that he use to and he gets totally freaked out!
Things are going great though we've been able to stay on the same schedule that we created almost 5 years ago with Trey and it just seems like Harper has always been here! I was nervous about the transition from 2 to 3 kids but it's been pretty easy...Lucky us! We are so blessed to have 3 beautiful kids that are all so great!
