She's Here Part 2!!!
Hospital time...my favorite thing that they now do at the hospital that I never had before is that they give your baby a bath right in your room so that the mom can see it! There were alot of babies born that morning so Harper had to wait for a bit to get hers...but she finally got it!
This was my most favorite thing...after her bath I got to hold her skin to skin to warm her up and just plain snuggle! I loved every minute of this seriously! It was the best...It made her feel better and it made me feel better!
It was so cute the boys brought her these little princess wands and she wasn't shy about taking it from Trey and showing him who the princess really is!
Me and my sweet baby girl! And don't you just love my blanket and hospital gown! My sister in law Tiffany made all of this for me! I loved having my own gown. It made me feel so much better to be in my own things and it helped that they were super cute! At first they didn't want me to put it on after my surgery but I didn't care if I was going to be in the hospital I was going to wear it! Thanks so much Tiff! Everyone wanted to know where I got it!
On Saturday morning I was surprised when they told me that I could go home!!! I was expecting to have to stay til at least Sunday since I had surgery! But since I was doing so good they told me I could go home Saturday night! So I got Harper all dressed up and ready to go!
When we got home the boys weren't home yet they were with my dad so Richard took the time to give Harper a tour of the house! It was so cute...She already has him wrapped around her little finger!
Here she is a couple of days old! I think that she looks alot like Richard! She is so sweet! She is a pro at nursing...she took to it so easy and is still great at it! Which I love...I felt like such a failure when Jack wouldn't nurse so I was a little stressed about it with her, but she took to it with no problems! She is sleeping great! She gets up only 2 times at night just to eat really fast and go right back to sleep! Richard has been an amazing helper! I have a hard time getting in and out of bed so he gets up changes her and gets her all ready to eat and when she is done he takes her back to bed. He's been doing everything around the house and with the boys so that I can somewhat get back to myself before he goes back to work...which is tomorrow!!! I'm alittle nervous about him going back but we can do it! I'm starting to feel much better still a bit sore but not nearly as bad as it was at first! We are so happy to have little Harper in our home the boys can't get enough of her and they loving helping out! We just love her!!!

I love the first picture of you as a family! And, Richard giving her a tour of her home is priceless. You look great in the hospital photos and on your way home as well Megan. So happy for all of you. Congratulations again!
