Fair Time!!!

On Thursday we took the boys to the fair! We love to go every year to see all the animals we always go and see if my Grandma Bair put anything in the fair also! We couldn't find anything of hers this year though so it was kind of a disappointment! But we had fun checking out the animals and so did the boys!

One of my favorites was this sheep wearing spandex! Richard kindly named this Sheep Spence after one of our great friends who wears alot of this stuff ;)
I just thought that this was the cutest little thing ever! Every year when I go to the fair I desperately wish that we could have a goat for some reason! I just think they are the cutest little things alive!

Trey braved the ponies again this year! He was such a good rider and he kept saying "run like the wind bullseye!" If you don't know what that is from you must be living under a rock! Sadly I think his "bullseye" was tired and did not run like the wind!

Jack was all kinds of excited to get on the pony for the first time but as soon as Richard put him up there the tears came! He was not having it but we made him stick it out and soon he was having a great time! We had a great time at the fair the boys got balloon and it was just plain great!
I thought that I would give a bit of an update on Trey's leg! After I wrote my last post about it! I went and check on his leg and it seemed to have just gotten bigger and it was now getting red splotches on it! I was getting a little nervous since the swelling had moved down into his knee and it was getting hard for him to bend! I decided that we needed to go back to the Doctor! Trey was ticked he thought for sure that he was going to have to get the needle again! Even after the Doctor had told him that he wouldn't have to get any shots he still didn't believe it til we were out of there! The Doctor checked it out and all seemed to be ok, there was no infection just a little reaction that happens sometimes to about 5% of kids after their 4-5th dose of the DTP shot! He told me to just watch it but that the swelling should start to go down in a couple of days!
Here is what his leg looked like after the DR visit! It looked awful and I just felt so bad for him. I was calm and cool on the outside but in my head all I could think about was something horrible happening to his leg! I kept thinking he was going to have some nasty staff infection or worse that they were going to have to cut his leg off!!! Sorry I think like that sometimes, but at least everything is ok! That night we went down and stayed with Richard's brothers family and that pretty much made Trey feel better! He got to hang out with cousin Carter and they had a great time talking about Disneyland watching a movie about Disneyland and counting down the days til we go! I'm glad that it got his mind off his poor little leg and that he go to have a good time! His leg is now doing much better and the swelling has started to go down! He still has a pretty good sized knobby knee but he is getting better everyday!

I am glad Trey is feeling better. I am also glad you guys had such a fun time at the fair. I really miss the fair. They are not the same up here and so far away too. But if ever want a goat for a pet you should come live up here, lots of people have them, and a lot of people do rotations with them. Yay for Disneyland being soon!
